What Causes Lot Of Foul Smelling Mucus In Stools When Having IBD?

Hi

I have IBD and over the past 5/6 weeks I have using the toilet 3/4 times, my stools are not formed properly and ther is a lot of mucus in it. I also have a lot of wind and when I pass it I also on occasions soil my underwear with foul smelling mucus/slime.

What you are reporting is common in patients with IBD however stool culture for yeast infection should be done to exclude infection.
