What Causes Low Blood Count While Having Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding?

Im 48 and I had low blood count because I experience extra bleeding after my period was suppose to have gone off I ended up getting a blood transfusion and now Im back to bleeding again my perio came on around August 31 and it seems like itsstill on I don t know if it is still my period or pylori. I was not diagnosed with pylori.

Hi,
It seems that due to pre-menopausal age there might be having hormonal disturbance causing more or less period.
Having profuse period for more time producing less hemoglobin causing anemia.
Consult Gynaec and get examined and go for treatment of menorrhagiea.
Take Iron, folic acid medicine for long time.
Ok and take care.
