What Causes Low Blood Sugar Levels After Taking Glycomet?
I am newly detected for type 2 diabetes.i am taking Glycomet 500 sr after lunch and dinner. My sugar levels are now 190 fasting and 247 rbs weather it is necessary to continue the dose as it is or should it be reduced? Secondly is there any side effect of Glycomet 500 Thanks
Hello, Glycomet is one of the best medications available to control Type 2 diabetes. It can decrease the insulin resistance that your body has developed. However, the side effects of glycomet can be GI symptoms like nausea, vomiting etc. Your blood sugar appears high as of now so it is advisable to continue the drug. If you feel any side effects or discomfort then you can consult your physician for a change in dose or for another additional antihyperglycemic agent.
