General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Glycomet is one of the best medications available to control Type 2 diabetes. It can decrease the insulin resistance that your body has developed. However, the side effects of glycomet can be GI symptoms like nausea, vomiting etc.
Your blood sugar appears high as of now so it is advisable to continue the drug. If you feel any side effects or discomfort then you can consult your physician for a change in dose or for another additional antihyperglycemic agent.
I find this answer helpful
