Hi,
Noted your history of taking
Glimepiride and
Metformin for control of
diabetes, sugars were high and altering as you have mentioned.
The control of diabetes is most important for proper functioning of the body.
The sugars will be varying everytime you go for the tests.
Hence the most important thing is whether it is in normal range for fasting, postprandial and random range.
ALso important is to get a test called HbA1c which shows average blood
glucose for the last 3 months and can help to know the prognosis and need for further management.
Consult a Diabetologist to have proper evaluation and management of diabetes.
So not calculate anything on your own, nor change the doses or medicines.
Take care, exercise well and watch for diet.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
