Hello Doctor, I am a 59 year old female, over the last few months I have been feeling like I am shaking inside about once a fortnight, no real pattern to the feeling. A friend suggested I test my blood sugar levels, on one morning it was only 2.3, but was 4.7 on the other three occasions I tested it. Yesterday I felt shaky so when I did the test and it was only 1.7, I had eaten about three hours previously and did not feel hungry. what could be causing my levels to drop so low?. Thank you.
