What Causes Low Energy Levels, Lethargy And Weight Gain?

I am heading into Menapause, so they think... I have been on a diaretic for edema, I now over the past month am suffering from really low energy levels, so lethargic, gained about 8 lbs, which was under control before, bad sleeping and really low hydration levels. The Florsorimide isn t working anymore either... Could something more be going on? I know menopause is a personal journey, haha... a mystery fun bag of tricks, but wonfdering if I can do anything for my symptoms now.

Hello,

Conditions related to your symptoms are hypothyroidism, subacute thyroiditis, depression, Addison's disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, infectious mononucleosis, menopause, heart diseases, and kidney failure.

So, you need a detailed examination and few investigations before arriving at a diagnosis. Please consult a physician for accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Menopause has many symptoms and treatment includes control of vasomotor symptoms like hot flashes etc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
