What Causes Low Grade Fever While Suffering From Cellulitis On The Testicle?

At first I thought I had a boil on my right testical but couldn t walk so I went to E.R they said it was celulitis it was swollen as big as almost a tennis ball gave me antibiotic iv two antibiotics and cream and pain meds to go home next day I had smelly briwn pus coming from the area so I went back and they added to my doses gave me a antibiotic shot and sent me hom . The swelling is pretty much gone only pain is when i stand for a long time but I ve been getting low grade fevers every time I wake up is this normal ? I thought I was getting better but then this happens and I feel like crap

Hi,

If fever is present for longer than 3 days after starting the antibiotics, it might be safer to see your doctor again and make sure the infection is well under control and not relapsing.
