What Causes Low Haemoglobin Level In A Child With Anisocytosis Hypochromia?
sir Anamika here ...today my son 5 yrs 11 months old....diagnosed Anisocytosis hypochromia...his haemoglobin is 10.70 gm%.....is this something going wrong ...i m worried so much....RBC 4.40 mill/cmm....platlet count 3.09 lakhs/cu.m.m......total WBC count 7500/cu.m.m....pls guide me

platlt ,wbc are almost in normal range.RBC is slightly lesser in number.Anisocytosis is a medical term meaning that a patient's red blood cells are of unequal size. This is commonly found in anemia and other blood conditions.Anisocytosis with microcytosis – Iron deficiency, sickle cell anemia
Anisocytosis with macrocytosis – Folate or vitamin B12 deficiency, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, cytotoxic chemotherapy, Chronic liver disease, Myelodysplastic syndrome.
It may be due to nutrirtional deficiency.
may be due to deficiency of iron vit b 12 or folic acid.
so go for proper nutrition.
