What Causes Low Hemoglobin In A Child?

ok..i was just doing research on my 13 yr old grandson..his hemoglobin is little over 9 and they did blood work on him to find out if it was just low iron,,he is active in sports..he is built little both parents arent big .as a grandmother i was worried about him.he doesnt act sick or anything .

Hi
Iron deficiency is most common cause of anaemia . If everything is normal other than iron deficiency , no need to worry , it will improve with diet rich in iron and medications
