What Causes Low Protein Count In The Urine While Having Nephrotic Syndrome?

Hi Dr, im 28 years old , having nephrotic syndrome for 6 years, taking western medication and combination of traditional medication recently, conditions improved , all tests are normal except protein in urine 2+ and 50-53 average of total protein (still below the benchmark of 63) for several months test , this morning new test, my total protein surge to 60 , however protein in urine became 3+ , just wondering why , shouldnt my protein in urine to go down in tandem with increase in total protein? Could it be error in the tests?

You are having protein in urine and that could be because of uncontrolled nephrotic syndrome. The underlying cause for nephrotic syndrome if identified than should be treated. You can be prescribed prednisone like steroid for specific duration to control nephrotic syndrome. Provide your reports and detail of medication you received for giving more comment. Consult urologist for examination.
