First day of my last period was July 5. Everyday during my fertile window my partner and i had unprotected as well as on ovulation day up until 3 days after. Yesterday 7/28 i begin feeling light cramping in my lower abdominal area up until this morning.shortly after i begin wanting raw onions amd salads pretty bad..am i pregnant or is this pms?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. Unprotected sex in ovulation periods can cause pregnancy and the possibility has to be borne in mind as you have changed wanting. But the only way to know whether you are pregnant or not is blood test and urine pregnancy test after 5 days of the expected next missed periods. If these are positive you are pregnant and may not need any investigations or treatment unless there is increase in pain in lower abdomen along with other signs like bloating, nausea, vomiting and so on. Then you will need further investigations like tests of blood, urine and stool along with ultrasonography to get an appropriate diagnosis and a plan of management. Try to avoid any medications as there is expected pregnancy unless your Doctor has advised you to with the knowledge that you may be pregnant.
