What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And Frequent Urination?

I have been urinating fequently on and off for the last week or so with cramping occuring before i urinate or sometime afterwards, the pain goes from the middle of my lower abdomen to both the right and left side of middle abdomen and back as well. When i urinate sometimes hardly anything comes out and sometimes i get alot out! I am classified as infertile as i am overweight, but i don't believe these are symptoms of pregnancy! could I have a bladder infection or kidney infection?

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Yes! You are having bladder or kidney infection and to confirm this you need to do USG abdomen and pelvis and urine routine and microscopy, renal function test. Follow up with the reports. Drink plenty of water. Take tablet Voveran SR two times a day or as and when required. Antibiotics needed if there is an infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
