What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And Pale Stool?

I had kindly pain for 5 days that moved into my lower abdomen a further 2 days later. I went to the doctor and as I was due my period, I was told to monitor symptoms and if they get worse to go back. I have been drinking cider vinegar and honey 2x daily, my stools have now turned very pale but not difficult to pass. I am not eating tomatoes and dairy apart from yoghurt. Could the change in colour be due to the cider vinegar or do I need to get my liver function checked as well?

Hello,

Stool color may be due to cider vinegar and it may not be due to any disease. Difficulty in passing the stool may be because of less amount of fiber in diet and less amount of drinking water.

You can get done the liver function test along with the kidney profile.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtar Husain
