What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain, Nausea And Diarrhea?

I am 43 year old female with lower left abdominal pain. Constant dull pain lasting a few weeks. Also, nausea, diarrhea, back pain ocassionally. Pain intensified for about 1 week where I felt ill and stayed in bed less today. Dr. thought an ovarian cyst and did ultrasound which was normal. Pain seems worse with movement and I notice ocassional spasm in the area. What could this be
