What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain Near Navel With History Of Hernia Surgery?

pain in lower left abdomen near navel. I had hernia surgery at least 10 years ago. Two in abdomen and 1 in groin area. I am a 62 year old female and have always done a lot of fiscal work. I know that it is not my gall bladder which is on the right side because I do not have one. I seem to be prone to kidney stones but this is not in that area. When I push on my abdomen it is very tender.

Hello
Thank for asking to HCM
I appreciate your query, even if you have old history of abdomen hernia repaired, still the abdomen pain need to be rule out for other possibilities because it is 10 years gone since the hernia operation done so right now abdomen pain may not be due to this, neither it could be due to renal colic or stone (Unless it is being proved with clinical examination and tests) I could say that such pain could be abdomen colic, some time it may be smooth muscle spam, second it may be due to urinary track infection or inflammatory condition, I would suggest Tab Dicyclomine with Acetaminophen for pain and Disodium hydrogen citrate liquid 20 ml three times in day, hope this information helps.
