What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain Post Defecation?

I have a colostomy, (perforated divaticulitus) July 30th. Great experience healed quickly, and no problems with my bag. Today I felt as if I had a BM out my butt, sat and pushed, probably shouldn t have, now my lower abdomine is sore to the point I can t stand straight. Could I have damaged something or if I give it time it will get better?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of colostomy post attack of diverticulitis.
Today felt the need to pass motion through anus and have pain.
This is due to the mucus which gets accumulated over time and needs an evacuation.
To to the hospital, get a flatus tube passed and you will be fine, there is no trauma that you can cause. So stop worrying.
You need to have regularly evacuate this end too.
