Hi i am Dr Ahmed Aly
thanks for using HealthcareMagic site ,
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns ..
In my opinion you have a kind of
sciatica due to nerve compression , actually these two symptoms are not related but bowel movements may exaggerate the pain sensation .
For my patients i may recommend
physiotherapy , hot massages , spinal straightening exercises will be helpful , painkillers like advil tabs when needed , gentle massaging with anti-inflammatory gels , B12 vitamin supplements , muscle relaxants will be effective for most of cases , in more severe and chronic cases
steroid tabs or injections are prescribed .
If pain persists i recommend MRI scan on your spine to exclude any
spinal disc herniation and follow them up with your
neurologist for proper evaluation and management.
