hi i have lower back pain a itchy anus and excessive wind. Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood your concerns. Itchy anus can be due to the following reasons: Local dermatitis. Due to intestinal infections spreading to the anal area. This can be diagnosed by the following ways and get treated properly: Get the stool and blood tested. Get a per-rectal digital examination, ano-proctoscopy. This will give an idea about the possible cause and a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics should solve your problem. Apply liquid povidone iodine locally. Keep the area clean and dry. Avoid hot and humid atmosphere. About the backache: can be due to muscle spasms or some spinal problem and an opinion of an Orthopedic Surgeon can help you to get an appropriate diagnosis and management.
