What Causes Lower Back Pain And Missed Period After Intercourse?
I am 25 years old and I had unprotected sex during ovulation (I used an ovulation kit). My period is now 5 days late without any sign of it coming. I am tracking my periods using an period tracking app which is normally right on. I have been having unusual horrible lower back pain, bloating, gas, acne, mild cramps in my abdomen, stuffy nose, and I've also gain 4lbs in the past month. Could I be pregnant
The very fact that you had unprotected sexual intercourse during ovulation, and you have missed your period for 5 days, there are good chances that you are pregnant. All the symptoms you have mentioned are not characteristic of pregnancy. The symptoms of pregnancy start about a week after missed period. Lower back pain may be due to weakness or overexertion for which please report to your physician.
After a couple of days, please perform pregnancy test on the overnight first morning urine sample. Alternatively, you may opt for Beta hCG test on blood. This should resolve your doubts.
I hope this helps you.
