Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had this lower back pain for more than 1 month, it radiates to my right leg but the pain eases when I sit down and comes back when I walk for more than 10 minutes. It's in the waiste area, lower back. I'm 50 years old, I have a minor thalassemia, I'm 165 pounds, 5 foot 8.2 years ago, I had a MRI done and they find that my lower vertebraes T3 and T4 were a bit dislocated. I try to exercise but it hurts after a while. When I caugh or sneeze, the pain intensifies in my lower back. I would appreciate your advice in regards to this medical issue.

Thanks for writing to us.
The pain that you have can be related to the dislocated vertebrae or due to mild disc prolapse in the lumbar vertebrae. Using a lumbosacral belt will help you.
