What Causes Lower Rib Pain?
Hi, i have gerd, and this past Thursday i had a reflux stint, it went in through Friday and Saturday morning it felt better. Then Saturday night it came back with a vengeance however this time it came with a bad pain in between my lower ribs. It is now Tuesday and the pain is still there, getting worse when I breath deep or move. The area is swollen a firm and painful to the touch.

It could be due to conditions like costochondritis.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
