What Causes Lower Right Abdominal Pain?

My ileocecal valve may be causing me this gnawing pain on the lower right side of my body above the pelvic bone area...I ve had this aching area for over 25 years now but recently it is beginning to hurt more and I am always aware of this area. In the past the aching/gnawing area would show up when lying in bed at night but not all the time, never standing up. However, now I feel it while driving, sitting, etc. but not all the time. Can this be specifically diagnosed and what does one do for this if I do have ileocecal valve problems? It can t be my appendix as this particular problem area has been with a long, long time.

- strictures or narrowing of intestines / colon - adnexal lesions in females
as involving uterus , right ovary , tubes - intestinal warms - inguinal
hernias - others
* Diagnostic evaluation requires
thorough history with all details
ultrasound abdomen & pelvis
necessary laboratory data as per clinician decision
CT scan / MRI / colonoscopy / IVP in selected cases
