What Causes Lump Above Anus?

I have a lump above my butt slightly that is extremely painful. Hurts to sit on, lay in bed, walking evens little bit. It hurts to the touch and is solid under the skin, but no redness or apparent swelling. Trying to figure out what it is and what to do

Hello
I share your concern
Looking at your description this could be hemorrhoids, infected anal gland or an abscess
Here I would like furtherinformation for better assessment for the condition like
your age and complete relevant medical history
Since how long you have this problem
Are you having any issue with passing stool

I would advise you to follow these guidelines
You should avoid constipation by taking laxatives or stool softeners
Have lots of fresh fruits vegetables and dietary fibers which will increase roughage and facilitate smooth passage for stool.
You can apply lignocaine anaesthetic ointment to relieve pain and discomfort.
Sitz bath by placing your buts in a small tub filled with hot water and keeping it there for 5 to 10 minutes, will definitely help you

Thanks for your question please feel free to ask for more clarification
Best wishes
