General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

This lump is most likely a varicose vein. Due to veins insufficiency your veins gets enlarged as the blood circulation is impeded. In some cases such varicose vein can get clotted. This causes hardness and pain.
I suggest you to consult general surgeon with this issue. Dopplers veins ultrasound should be done.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
