Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.
As per your complain a lump on the back of the tongue can be an ulcer, abscess,
Pyogenic granuloma or an inflamed tongue papillae..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and treat you according to the exact cause..
As of now you can do warm saline gargles..
Take ant-inflammatory painkiller like
Ibuprofen.
You can apply a numbing gel containing Lignocaine for pain relief especially before meals so that there is no
discomfort while eating..
You should avoid hard and spicy food to prevent irritation..
Take more of fluids and water..
Maintain a good
oral hygiene and take a soft semi solid diet..
Take
multivitamin supplements..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
