What Causes Lump Near The Temple?

My 6 year old daughter has an unexplained lump near her temple in the hairline. About 2 inches into the hairline. It is rubbery and painful, with an odd shape and about the size of a grape. She doesn't remember injuring herself. She also has an unexplained bald spot about the size of a pea on the opposite side of her head. Should I bring her to the doctor?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your kids problem is most likely sebaceous cyst.If it is that then it can be excised surgically. It is a benign cyst.It is better to confirm that by examination with a general surgeon.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
