What Causes Lump Under Armpit In An Infant?

I have found a lump under my 11month old babys armpit. I took him to my GP today who doesnt know what it is. They have referred him for an xray, which he has had done, and he will be having a blood test aswell. I took him during the weekend to the walk in centre the other doctor thinks its is a lymph node, but I am feeling concerned.

Most common lump in armpit in this age group is a lymph node. It will be called significant if the length is more than 1 cm. So u should consult with ur pediatrician.
