What Causes Lumps Inside The Anus And Blood In Stools?

I'm an 18 year old girl, overweight. recently I've noticed two soft lumps on the inside and just opposite my anus. I often feel like I need to go to the bathroom although instead of a stool I get a mucus like substance(yellow in colour) and if I'm able to pass stools it's usually painful and occasionally there are specks of blood to be seen(been happening for about 3 months) would it be symptoms of anything serious?

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to hemorrhoids. Some advice that I can give to you are:
- Add fiber to your diet slowly to avoid problems with gas.
- Use topical treatments. Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone, or use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent.
- Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
