I am suffering from lungs pain. I had got health checkup from TU Teaching Hospital, Nepal Now I am taking furacort 400mg 2 times. At My CT scan report, 1.Finding, There are few cystic dilatation of bronchi noted in posterior basal segment of left lower lobe. 2. Rest of B/L lungs are normal in aeration, vascular markings and attenuation pattern No thickening of interlobular or intralobular septa note.Dr. Prof. Karbir nath yogi of TU suggest me to get influnga Im every year, Inj Pnewovac 1m every 5 y and tab aziwok 250mg twich a week Now I am not still satisfied. Operation is necessary or any other option. What should i do ? or any lungs specialist in new Delhi for this treatment ?
Hello Thanks for your query. From your CT scan report it is quite clear that you have localised cystic bronchiectasis which is causing your problem. If it is really localised and causes chronic problems to you then surgical option is really there but that may only be decided by a thorough evaluation of a cardio-thoracic surgeon.
