What Causes Lymph Node Metastasis In Case Of Breast Cancer?

I had invasive medullary breast cancer 4 years ago May. I was told it was caught early by my yearly mammpogram. I had to have a lymphnode dissection also, because they found cancer there. If my breast cancer was found early, how did it get into my lymphnodes so quickly?

Hello ,
thank you for your question . It is very interesting question . In fact no body can tell you why your cancer cells metastased so quickly and by lymh vessels . It is just how nature works . Breast cancer can metastase by blood and lymph nodes , but nobody can tell you which way it will go . Usually more agressive carcinomas and younger patients tend to get faster metastases .
