What Causes Metallic Taste In Mouth Followed By Diarrhoea?

Hi, I ve been experiencing a metallic taste in the mouth for a few days and today got diarrhoea, could that be parasites? Not taking any medication. Very healthy diet/lifestyle. I m on holidays now, swimming in lakes, consuming water and food different than usually.
