Hi, I m 28yrs old, have a mild heart condition that I take sotalol for 2x daily and have done for past 12mths and also suffer migraines on regular basis but for past 2 days, my migraine has been worsened with heart playing up and going dizzy when standing, my sugar levels are normal as a non diabetic at 4.7 and my blood pressure is 95/57 and has been since last night. Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely due to lowering of blood pressure. It is dangerous to have such a low blood pressure. Your vital organs especially brain will be in low perfusion of oxygen and nutrients. That is why you are feeling dizzy. You should consult your treating doctor and adjust the dosage of sotalol. Then you will be better. You should check your blood pressure regularly also. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
Thanks
