What Causes Mild Cramps In The Left Leg And In The Calf?

I woke up this morning with mild cramps in my left leg behind the knee and in the calf. I had a normal day yesterday. I am able to walk, but am concerned as they have not gone away. It is now 1:35 and they have been going on since 7:00 am. Please advise.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It might be simple muscle cramps.

As a first step just drink plenty of water and take rest. You can consider analgesics like Tramadol if pain persists.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
