What Causes Mild Itching, Red Spots And Swollen Ankle?
Hi, I was out cutting my grass a few days ago. When I put clippings in a leaf bag the first time I noticed a lot of dust from leaves still in there from last year, and it looked like mice may have been harboring there. Almost as soon as I started bagging I felt like my legs were covered with really minor bugs or something. There was a very mild itch. I usually take a shower after I mow, but didn t that night. The next morning I noticed red spots where my hair follicles transected with skin. I also started noticing ankle swelling. Tonight the red spots are still there, and the swelling looks to be mild pitted edema.
As per your query, you have symptoms of mild itching, red spots and swollen ankle which seems to be due to viral infection could be due to shingles, environmental conditions and it could be due to pyoderma as well. I would suggest you maintain complete hygiene and avoid these areas from excessive exposure to sunlight and keep them dry. You should visit a dermatologist once and start treatment after proper examination and prescription. Take a proper course of Acyclovir along with apply calamine as a soothing lotion.
