What Causes Missed Period Inspite Of Being On Petogen?
Hi Doc I have been using petogen for 6 months now the first three months i bleed for over 3 weeks and went back to the clinic they gave some pills to stop the bleeding. so after my second appointment my periods has stopped completely. should i be worried or its normal? What are the chances of falling pregnant.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Petogen is a good family planning drug. When taken normally, the chances of being pregnant on it are rare.It may have as side effects menstrual irregularities. This may explain the first symptoms that took you to the hospital.Absence of menses could be as a result of petogen or reaction of petogen with the pills you took or pregnancy. The failure of such a contraceptive method is possible if you never respected the date of the next shot. The chances of being pregnant while on petogen are low but i will still advise you take a pregnancy test.Though the hormone is very effective, efficiency is not 100%. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
