What Causes Mouth Soreness And Neck/chin/armpit Discomfort?

sore just inside my mouth, comes and goes for 3 yrs. Feel like im not really swollen but mild discomfort in neck area, under chin, armpits and groin. Had mouth problems, felt like thrush that would come and just go. Have had a dripping in my throat from my nose for about 6 months. Real tired sometimes. Told my dr I had a sinus infection, but he blamed it on the bad winter we had. Im a 53 yr old male who smoked for 20 yrs, quit for 5 now smole occasionally. Had pneumonis in dec 2013 and that s when all these symptoms took off.

Read your history and understood your concerns.
Exactly, you have noted it perfectly, the problem started after pneumonia in 2013.
This indicates that you had inadequate treatment / recovery / have sequel.
Do not worry:
Follow this and you will be fine:
- First of all take a therapeutic dose of Vitamin A and D and continue as a combination of multivitamins.
This helps directly as then only the respiratory mucosa including that of the mouth gets back the strength to fight infection, healing properly and so on.
- Go for investigations:
CT scan of the sinuses and the chest to know the exact diagnosis and plan for a proper treatment.
Chest physiotherapy .
Course of an antibiotic and supportive therapy.

All these efforts will give you full recovery and ability to get well .
