Hello,
Welcome to health care magic,
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help.
I would like to start off by saying that you have absolutely nothing to worry about, and although there could be some underlying cause/condition for the mucus in your stool, this is not serious enough to interfere with your routine life.
In my opinion the possibilities include:
1) Inflammatory bowel disease
2) Irritable bowel syndrome
3) Diverticulosis
4) Recurrent polyp
5) Intestinal infections or infestations
It would be better you go for routine blood works, a stool analysis and culture report with some special tests to rule out above possibilities.
Your main treatment will depend on the underlying cause but meanwhile you can take
albendazole 400 mg for once a day dosage only for deworming.
Take antispasmodics with antacids for symptomatic relief.
I hope you find my response both helpful and informative.
Regards,
