What Causes Muscle Ache And Malaise?

I am 71 and in Maryland. I have pronounced muscle aches and a feeling of malaise (feel sick)for about five days. If i start feel better and exert myself this causes a significant and rapid return of both discomforts. Do you think I have a bug going around and what is it. Thanks

Hi,

I understand your concern.

Yes, your symptoms of muscle aches and a feeling of malaise are indicating a bug episode.

Take more rest, increase fluids intake. Take vit.C supplement to strengthen immunity and pain killers you find over the counter (paracetamol or ibuprofen).

If it will get worse, get checked by your physician.
Wish fast recovery.
