What Causes Muscle Spasms In Leg And Buttocks?

I am 53. I felt a tweak, on inside part of leg, near my butt. Hard to explain. I am getting some spasms, but they are not constant. It happened while I was playing tennis. It was cold out. We played for 3 hours and 45 minutes. The area never felt tight, but the spasms are a warning. I stretch before I play. I try to listen to my body. What would you recommend?I am not interested. Goodbye.

Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Muscle twitching can be caused by ions deficiency (low Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium).
The treatment of most of the conditions is very easy and the condition will resolve on its own. In some cases, prescription medications might be needed to stop severe symptoms.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
