What Causes Muscle Tissue Like Blood Clots During Periods?
Hi. I began my period last night with heavy cramping and light bleeding. This morning, before I getting into the shower, I noticed a large clot on my pad. I thought little of it and showered. During my shower, however, another clot passed and was about four cm in length, and was bloody but also white/grey and stringy. It was strong, almost like chicken skin or muscle tissue. There is no chance of pregnancy as I have not been sexually active for about six months. Did I happen to pass part of my uterine lining this morning?

Hello,
It can happen when there is excessive bleeding or in case of infections.As of now you can take drugs like tranexemic acid empirically.
If persists, better to consult a gynaecologist and get an ultrasound scan done.
