What Causes Muscular Pain In Back After Work Out?

Im not sure but I think I may have pulled a muscle in back on the right side. I workout with weights and I think I over did it. It has been almost a week, it hurts when I sneeze , cough or just getting up. I still go to the gym for cardio should I stop since I really haven t given it any rest. I apply heat and ice but that has not done much. What do I do?

Hi,
There is really nothing to worry. This is just a spasm of the muscles at the back.This takes time to come to normal.

TREATMENT:
1) No lifting weights for 1 week strictly. ( complete rest )
2) dicloran gel for local application daily twice
3) hot water fomentation ( after gel application )
4) No bending down ( this wil exaggerate the problem )
5) T.Hifenac MR 1-0-1 for 1 week.

It may take upto 10-15 days for your spasms to be relieved.
