What Causes My Anti Microsomal Test Results Shows High Value?

Hi my current anti mcrosomal antibody teshows 258.8 and tsh is 2.72.please advice me. am 45yrs, my weight is 69kgs,my ht is 164cm.dr just saw my neck one day and go for a thyroid test so far normal he said . but now my question is why my anti microsomal test is high whats my problem

Antithyroid microsomal antibody test measures antithyroid microsomal antibodies in the blood. Microsomes are found inside thyroid cells. Antibodies to microsomes are produced when there has been damage to thyroid cells.A positive test is due to Granulomatous thyroiditis or Hashimoto thyroiditis.

A positive result does not always mean that you need treatment for your thyroid although it may mean that you have a chance of developing thyroid disease in the future.
