What Causes Nausea After Eating And Body Temperature Alternating From Hot To Cold?

Good afternoon,

My fiance has been fighting nauseated feelings the past week. This usually occurs after she is eating. I don't know if this is a syptom of the stomach flu, but her body temperature gets cold and hot about every two to four hours. She's also been feeling fatigue. She is also not pregnant, Since she won't go to the doctor about her stomach, what does she have? How can she treat it from home? Thank you for your time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a stomach flu. Some advices that I can give to you are:

- Use reglan medicine. Consult your physician for prescription.
- Use the BRAT diet — bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast.
- Avoid anything that can trigger nausea.
- Use a gastro protector.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
