What Causes Nausea Along With Headache And Chills?

Hi my mom is 71 we had are carpets steam cleaned and following that day she was nauseous and under the weather s he had a very bad head ach and the chills. Sweated threw the following night took liquid I.b profen now the left side of her face is swollen and red and tender her legs ach and she hasent eaten much what do ai do to help her

"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this-

1)Do a clinical examination by your treating Doctor[Neurologist]and do few investigations to confirm it [CBC with differential and MRI scan]

2)For pain Discuss with your Doctor about [indometacin] and for nausea [chlorpromazine].

3)For prevention you can talk about [Amitriptyline]

Do follow few lifestyle modifications like this -

1)Try to avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your problems in the past, try to avoid them.

2)Try to reduce your caffeine and alcohol intake and avoid tobacco.

3)Do establish a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. And try to control stress.

4)Do exercise regularly. If your doctor agrees, choose any aerobic exercise you enjoy, including walking, swimming and cycling and exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight.

5)Try to avoid or reduce the medications you take that contain estrogen.
