What Causes Nausea And Retching After Ingestion With Fatigue?

For the past several weeks I have had extreme nausea. It is first thing in the morning and especially severe after I eat. I dry heave several times a day. I am also experiencing more fatigue than normal ( I have severe chronic depression). I am positive I am not pregnant. What else could this be?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Many causes like gastritis or esophagitis or pancreatitis or peptic ulcer disease or any intraabdominal pathology.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use tablet pantoprazole. Avoid spicy food and caffeine drinks.

Get it done upper GI endoscopy and ultrasound abdomen.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician/gastroentrologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
