Hello,

Ascoril syrup is advised for cough as its anti-allergic medicine and helps to suppress the cough. It has few side effects which include nausea, vomiting, palpitations, increased heart rate. If these side effects persist for long and get severe then stop consumption of the medicine and contact your doctor immediately.

Your doctor might suggest a substitute for cough. You can consume the other medicines as per your doctor’s advice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
