What Causes Nausea And Vomiting After An Appendix Surgery?
My 14 yr old son had his appendix out 2 years ago. He has had nausea and at times accompanied with vomiting. It happens at all times of the day, not necessarily due to eating. He just had blood work done, an x-ray of his stomach and also an ultra sound on his stomach and intestines. So far everything has come back normal. Do you have any suggestions?
As this has been going on for a while, I suggest you to run stool examination for ova parasites to rule out intestinal parasites.
Give him plenty of fluids especially water with ors. Give tasectan or peptobismol for diarrhea, probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora. BRAT diet (banana, rice, apple sauce, toast) can also help.
Wish fast recovery.
