What Causes Nausea And Vomiting After Eating Food?

I get nausea and vomit during and after meals, I can feel the food back-up all the the to my chest / throat. With the vomit there is a white foam often included. Not every meal just random, the types of meals that cause this vary, nothing particular. Is this acid reflux ? It s been going on for 10 + years, but has become more frequent in the last two years.

Hi! Yes, your symptoms are most likely to be due to reflux of acid. It is nore likely to be present with spicy foods and when you are anxious or tense. If you were my patient, I'd suggest an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy to rule out correctable causes like ulcer. Trust that answers your question.
