General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

From what you refer I can say that your symptoms are related to Peptic ulcer.
Peptic ulcer is a lesion in the lining(mucosa) of the stomach.

To treat this ulcer I recommend:
1. Eliminating spicy foods and fried foods from your diet.
2. Avoiding alcoholic drinks, carbonated drinks, milk and coffee.
3. Quitting smoking(if you do smoke).
4. Taking Esomprazole 20mg 2 pills daily, for 5-6 weeks.

Consult your gastroenterologist for the treatment.

If you don't see any improvement then fibrogastroendoscopy and liver function test are necessary to check disease complication.

Let me know if this answer is helpful to you.

All the best.
Dr. Behar.
