What Causes Nausea In An Elderly Person?

My brother, who is 69, has been having soreness, red rashes, swelling, felling nausea at times. This comes/goes in different places on his body..shoulder, neck, back, buttocks, forearm. Large red areas that swell, then swelling goes down, and then it itches. He s been to a doctor, they don t know what it is. Given him prednisone. They have ruled out shingles, as it moves around to different parts of his body.

Hi,
thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
The shifting & itchy rashes on body & nausea to your brother seem to be due to severe allergy ( eatables, cosmetics, clothes, pollen, medicine)
Doctor has given good medication to control allergy symptoms & also to prevent it's risky symptoms.
Thanks
